Defender IT Consulting does not engage in paid prioritization arrangements that favor certain internet traffic over other lawful traffic in exchange for payment or other consideration. All clients receive equal treatment with respect to our services.
6. Reasonable Network Management
While we support open internet principles, we reserve the right to engage in reasonable network management practices to: Ensure network security and integrity, Address traffic congestion in a content-neutral manner, Comply with applicable laws and court orders, and Block or mitigate malicious traffic as part of our cybersecurity services. These practices are applied in a content-neutral, non-discriminatory manner.
7. Security Services Exception
Engagements may involve advising on, or procuring, security services that block or filter malicious content, threats, and unauthorized access attempts. Those services are selected and deployed at the client's direction and operated by the client or the provider we help them select. They are not considered violations of open internet principles.
